The brown square represents the summary operating point of the curve that summarises the prognostic performance of troponins (sensitivity 0.60, 95% CI 0.54–0.65; specificity 0.83, 95% CI 0.77–0.88; positive likelihood ratio 3.61, 95% CI 2.74–4.70; negative likelihood ratio 0.48, 95% CI 0.43–0.54). The area under the hierarchical summary receiver operating characteristic curve was 0.74, 95% CI 0.70–0.78.
