Oviposition of Poultry Red Mites (PRMs) which had fed on aging hens across an 18-week period (boxplots and actual values of egg counts in logarithmic scale). Data shows the total number of eggs laid per fed, surviving female mite as monitored over a six-day period following each assay week. “Q1” and “Q3” are the first and third quartiles of the data distribution, respectively.
