Conservation of genomic location and function of a miR host LNC across species. (a) INRAGALG00000001802 hosts gga-mir-155 and is conserved in human (MIR155HG) and mouse (Mir155hg). (b) Gga-mir-155 (top) and its host LNC, INRAGALG00000001802 (middle), are mostly expressed in immunity-related tissues in chicken, similarly to MIR155HG in human (bottom).
