VehMs and GIMs successfully decellularized and recellularized. VehMs and GIMs were generated from primary hTM cells that had been cultured in the absence or presence of 100 nM dexamethasone (DEX), respectively, for 4 weeks. Primary hTM cells from the same donor used to generate these matrices were subsequently seeded on VehMs and GIMs in 1% fetal bovine serum (FBS) growth media for 7 days. Immunocytochemistry was subsequently performed.
