Typical “sea urchin”‐shaped Gd deposit located in the interstitial space of the lateral nucleus (corresponding to the dentate nucleus in humans) of a rat repeatedly treated with gadodiamide (12 mmolGd/kg cumulated). The presence of Gd was validated by electron energy loss spectroscopy.
