Three-dimensional comparison of brain size and morphology for mouse, Yucatan micropig, macaque, and humans (left to right). Surface mesh reconstructions of each brain were created from publicly available brain templates for the C57Bl6 mouse (Hikishima et al., 2017), the Yucatan micropig (this paper), the macaque (Rohlfing et al., 2012), and humans (Fonov et al., 2009), in ITK-Snap and visualized in ParaView. A 50 mm × 50 mm grid and a 100 mm ruler are displayed to show scale.
