Hazard ratios and their corresponding confidence intervals were obtained through Cox regression analysis. Standard model was adjusted for (age), (gender), smoking habits, MedDietScore, physical activity level, waist circumference, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, family history of cardiovascular disease, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, and triglycerides.
