Hypoxic induction of MMP-3, -10, and -13 mRNAs is independent of HIF-1α activity. (a) TEPMs were isolated from hematopoietic/endothelial-specific HIF-1α knockout mice (Cre (+)) or cre-negative littermates (Cre (-)) as a control. TEPMs were exposed to hypoxia (1% O₂), and the relative expression levels of MMP-3, -10, and -13 mRNAs were analyzed. Quantitative PCR analysis was repeated in at least three independent experiments.
