Dogs were treated with enalapril (0.5‐1.5 mg/kg PO q12h) or telmisartan (1‐3 mg/kg PO q24h) monotherapy during study days 0‐90, with or without the second drug during study days 91‐120. UPC was measured every 30 days until UPC ≤0.5 was achieved, and study drug dosages were increased every 30 days to target UPC ≤0.5.
