A: Acute total ATR without symptoms of tendinopathy before.

B: Partial rupture with sudden pain but no positive calf squeeze test or Maties test, absence of tears verified with ultrasound.

*The boot was extended for 4 weeks for this patient, but only when he was carrying heavy loads.
