Zn and Cu concentrations in different organs of NAC-treated mice. Four-week-old male mice (C57BL/6Jrj) chronically received NAC for 20 weeks via the drinking water (1 g NAC/100 mL). The Cu and Zn content in (a,d) duodenum, (b,e) liver, and (c,f) spleen was measured using total reflection X-ray fluorescence (TXRF) spectroscopy.
