LIPUS regulates the polarization of macrophages. LIPUS significantly inhibits the LPS-induced activation of p-JNK and p-p65 in macrophages. At the same time, LIPUS down-regulates the expression of IL-1β and TNF-α mRNA, whereas it up-regulates the expression of IL-10 and Arg-1, in macrophages.
