Evaluation of in vivo fertilization: B6 females were mated with B6 or Rc3 males to evaluate their respective capacity to fertilize oocytes in vivo. The mating was performed on the night and the next day, oocytes from oviducts of females with a positive vaginal plug were collected. The fertilization was assessed using 4′,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI) fluorescent staining. The results are presented as the mean of the fertilization rate (%) ± SEM using t-test. * p = 0.036.
