Cytostatic effects of cationic 15 and neutral Pro-functionalized monomeric dendron 13 and Pro-functionalized bola dendrimers 9a and 11a in U87 populations. Cells were cultured for 96 h after the administration of the agents (1–200 μM) and their numbers were counted with Coulter counter. All data shown as mean ± SD. Statistical significance of the differences tested with two-way ANOVA, * p < 0.01. Data representative for at least 3 independent experiments (n > 3). Note the relatively high bioactivity of Pro-functionalized compounds, and the relatively high sensitivity of U87 cells to the analyzed agents.
