Different soil types were spiked with 2 mL of spiked blood (containing 6.0 log10 50% tissue culture infectious doses (TCID50)/mL of ASFV KenyaΔCD2v-dsRed) and stored at room temperature for the indicated times. ASFV genome copies (A) and virus titers (B) on WSL cells in untreated or disinfectant-treated matrices are shown. Experiments were completed in triplicate. Solid lines represent the mean of the three replicates. The dotted line is the limit of detection of the virus titration.
