Association of inflammatory cytokines with in-hospital mortality in patients with COVID-19. ORs of each variable were obtained using multivariate logistic regression models after adjustment for age, gender, comorbidities, disease severity and lymphocyte count. Severity was staged based on the guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 (trial fifth edition) published by the Chinese National Health Commission on 4 February 2020.
