Fig. 3 — Pretreatment of Ewing sarcoma cells with iron partially rescues the growth inhibitory effects of eltrombopag. Ewing sarcoma cell lines were pre-treated with transferrin, a bioavailable form of iron, or vehicle, for 24 h. Different concentrations of eltrombopag were then added and cell viability was assessed 72 h later using the AlamarBlue assay. Error bars represent the mean ± SD of three technical replicates
