We calculated the elongation length by subtracting the mean bone lengths of mice treated with vehicle from those of mice treated with ASP5878 or m-CNP. We further divided the elongation length by the mean bone length of the mice treated with vehicle and designated the quotient as the elongation index. Error bars denote the means ± s.d. *P < 0.05; **P < 0.01 compared to vehicle by one-way ANOVA with post-hoc Tukey HSD test.
