Twenty thousand cells were seeded and counted after 1 week. When compared with the control group, statistically significant differences were found with group 3P (Varnish) and group 5P (CHX) because these groups had a significant reduction of cells over a 1-week period. In addition, statistically significant differences were found with group 2P (Pumice), group 4P (High Polish), group 6P (Alcohol), and group 7P (Steam) because these groups had a significant increase in proliferation of cells.
P value—all groups compared with group 1P.
Significant at P < 0.05.
Significant at P < 0.01.
Significant at P < 0.001.
