The protective efficacy of vaccines against BCG infection in mice. At 24 weeks after the last vaccination, mice were challenged with Mycobacterium bovis BCG 1 × 107 CFU/100 μL/mice by nasal. 3 weeks post-challenge, (A) mice were euthanized and the bacterial burden (CFU) was measured in lungs; (B) mice were euthanized and the bacterial burden (CFU) was measured in spleens.
