Activation of the platelet-derived growth factor-B/PDGF receptor pathway promotes cell proliferation and angiogenesis. (A,B) The increased cell viability (A) and bromodeoxyuridine (BrdU) incorporation (B) induced by PDGF-B were mitigated by the inhibition of PDGFR. (C) PDGF-B-induced proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) expression was attenuated by imatinib.
