The effect of PP VII-primed Macrophages on the growth and apoptosis of tumor cells. (a–e) RAW264.7s and THP-1s pretreated with indicated inhibitors were stimulated with IFN-γ (a) and IL-6 (b) in absence or presence of PP VII. Cytokines secretion was qualified by ELISA and depicted as mean + SD of triplicate samples from two experiments. ***p < 0.001, **p < 0.01, *p < 0.05. LLCs (c) and A549s (d) were incubated with indicated macrophage CMs for 24, 48, 72 h respectively. Cell viability was qualified by CCK8 and is shown as mean + SD of triplicate samples from one representative experiments of two. The effect of indicated macrophage CM on cell death for 24 h was qualified by apoptosis in LLCs and A549s (e). Data are shown as mean + SD of triplicate samples.
