Mapped reads, number of expressed genes (TPM ≥ 1), and preferentially male gametophyte-expressed genes in PG and PT at the PT-Bi and PT-Tri stage. Male flowers (MALE) that contain male gametophytes were excluded from the analysis to identify preferentially expressed genes. Percentage refers to total number of protein-coding genes (27,313 genes; Amborella Genome Project, 2013).
