Gene Ontology analysis indicated LINC00844 was involved in biological processes related to cancer pathogenesis, such as metabolic processes, protein binding, and cell cycle, growth, and death (A). KEGG pathway analysis indicated that LINC00844 inactivated the MAPK signaling pathway (B). Western blotting showed that MEK and ERK 1/2 phosphorylation were inhibited in LINC00844 overexpression cells (C), but were promoted in LINC00844 siRNA transfection cells (D). LINC00844, long non-coding RNA00844; KEGG, Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway; MAPK, mitogen-activated protein kinase; MEK, mitogen activated kinase; ERK, extracellular signal-regulated kinase.
