Follow-up 1-year follow-up. The time-point BP control rate was calculated based on people who were taking antihypertensive drugs; however, the number of patients is different at baseline and follow-up, so change could not be calculated
- No value available, BP blood pressure, SBP systolic blood pressure, DBP diastolic blood pressure
Values are expressed as mean ± standard deviation or number of participants (percentage)
*At baseline before intervention, only 1515 patients (52.0%) were taking antihypertensive drugs, while at 1-year follow-up, all 2912 patients were taking drugs. BP control rate was calculated with people who were taking antihypertensive drugs as the denominator. As the number of patients in the denominator is different at baseline and follow-up, the “change” value could not be calculated, but the proportion of this change could be calculated and Mann-Whitney U test was used to compare the changes between groups
