Figure 2

Effect of docetaxel on maspin expression in lung adenocarcinoma cells. (A) Detection of the expression of maspin in lung adenocarcinoma SPC-A1/docetaxel (DTX)-resistant cells and parent cells, SPC-A1, by fluorescence qPCR. (B) Detection of the expression of maspin in lung adenocarcinoma SPC-A1/DTX-resistant cells and the parent cell line, SPC-A1, by western blot assay. (C) Lung adenocarcinoma parent cell lines were treated with different concentrations of DTX (0, 3, and 5 µg/L). Western blot (figure above) and qPCR (figure below) showed that the expression of maspin decreased with the increase of DTX concentration, with the protein expression level of GAPDH being used as an internal reference. (D) Lung adenocarcinoma parent cell lines were treated with 5 µg/L DTX. Western blot (above figure) and qPCR (figure below) showed that the expression of maspin decreased with the extension of drug action time, with the protein expression level of GAPDH being used as an internal reference. *, P<0.05; **, P<0.01.
