Involvement of ADAM17 and CTGF in TGF-β-induced FN expression in human lung epithelial A549 cells. (A) A549 cells were stimulated with TGF-β (10 ng/mL) for 0–48 h. FN and α-tubulin levels were detected in cell lysates through Western blotting. (B) A549 cells were transfected with control siRNA (con siRNA) and ADAM17 siRNA (25 nM). After 24 h, the cells were stimulated with TGF-β (10 ng/mL) for an additional 48 h.
