1,25(OH)2D3 differentially modulates integrin surface expression on activated T cells depending on their activation pathway. (A) Human CD4+ T cells were left unstimulated (US) or were activated with anti-CD3 and anti-CD28 or anti-CD46 as indicated, in the presence or absence of 1,25(OH)2D3 (VitD). After 4 days, expression of CD46, CD69, CD49d, CD29, and CD11a was assessed by flow cytometry (mean ± SEM, n= 24, one way ANOVA with Holm-Sidak’s multiple comparisons post hoc test).
