The images in (f, g) show the high magnification view of areas 1 and 2 (corresponding to the areas marked in e), where nanoparticles disappear. Interestingly, high population of single atoms (some of them are indicated by the yellow circles) are observed. Scale bars in f and g are 2 nm.
