Set-point genome formulas are host specific in BTV-4. Set-point GFs were calculated for each host through dividing the median frequency of a given segment by the lowest median frequency among segments. The proteins encoded by each segment are shown below the graph (VP and NS stand for viral particle and nonstructural protein, respectively). Moreover, the stoichiometry in the capsid for structural proteins is provided when available (11). This information is provided to allow comparison between stoichiometry and set-point GFs.
