The UV blocked region (dark) consists only of a single-crosslinked network formed by Schiff base reaction between the aldehyde groups of the OMA and the amine groups of the 8-arm PEG, whereas the UV exposed regions (red) consist of dual-crosslinked networks formed by both chemical crosslinking and photocrosslinking.
