Identification of viral proteins in an inactivated, whole virion vaccine. (A) The proteins were separated by 4-20% of gradient SDS-PAGE and silver stained. (B) The separated proteins were transferred to Nitrocellulose membrane for WB using human convalescent serum and rabbit antisera against virion and individual proteins as indicated on the top. 3a′, cleaved; M′, unglycosylated. Protein profiles in PAGE (Lane 2) and WB (Lanes 11 and 12) were scanned (Red lines and dots). Mouse α-β-Actin mAb was used as loading controls. Molecular weight markers are indicated on the left in kilodaltons and proteins are indicated by the arrows on the right. The experiments were repeated 10 times at least.
