To test for the induction of apoptosis, neuroblastoma cells were seeded 24h before treatment with Torin-2 or Rapamycin at the corresponding IC₅₀ and higher concentrations in (A) Kelly [T: IC₅₀ = 12nM, R: IC₅₀ = 30μM] and (B) IMR-32 [T: IC₅₀ = 30nM, R: IC₅₀ = 40 μM]. 72 h after treatment cells were harvested.
