The expression of MyD88 protein and mRNA were downregulated in THP-1 cells after transfection with pDeNy-hMal. THP-1 cells were treated with different concentrations of the dominant negative plasmid encoding Mal (pDeNy-hMal) for 48 h and were then stimulated with CPSIT_P7 (10.0 μg/ml, 24 h) to measure the protein and mRNA expression levels of MyD88 by Western blotting (A) and RT-qPCR (B).
