Kaplan-Meier curve of CDI event-free survival in patients post-FMT who were treated with Blastocystis sp.–positive versus Blastocystis sp.–negative fecal suspensions. CDI-free survival is defined as survival without a relapse (<2 months post-FMT) or new CDI infection (>2 months post-FMT) within 2 years (104 weeks) after FMT. Follow-up data exceeding 2 years were censored at 104 weeks. Patients suffering from a new CDI event after 104 weeks were counted as having no CDI event.
