C. tropicalis was initially cultured in a regular RPMI 1640 for 8 h (0 h) and the culture medium was changed to an ¹³C₁₁-Trp-RPMI 1640 medium and the culture was continued another 16 or 24 h. The results are the means from triplicate experiments and error bars indicate the means ± standard deviations.
