Changes in expression levels of the Fatty Acid Desaturase (FAD) genes: FAD2-1, FAD2-2, FAD3-1, and FAD3-2 under heat stress in the anther samples of six peanut cultivars grown under field conditions in 2019. RT-PCR was performed using gene-specific primers, and in all cases, gene expression results are normalized to the expression of the housekeeping gene Actin-7 (see Supplementary Table S4). For qRT-PCR analysis, three biological and two technical replicates were used. Asterisk (*) marks indicate significant differences (> 1.5-fold) in the expression level of the FAD genes observed under two treatments. The error bars signify the standard error. AT, ambient temperature (28/22 °C; average day/night temperatures during the 18-days treatment period); HT, high temperature (38/26 °C).
