A total of 16 micropatterns of collagen scaffolds designed in this study (C, 1–15). The scaffolds include several combinations of four prototypes, with different feature dimensions and aspect ratios, as well as presence and absence of EDC crosslinking (1–4). G–R, G–T, P–R, and P–T represent for grid pattern with rectangular configuration, grid pattern with truncated configuration, pillar pattern with rectangular configuration, and pillar patterns with truncated configuration, respectively.
