Virus placement on N95 mask. An N95 respirator was inoculated with SARS-CoV-2 and hung from the elastic straps in dry heat chamber for 60 min. The inoculated areas (1 cm × 1 cm) were then cut out and placed into a 24-well tissue culture plate for 30 min, at room temperature. Eluent was added to a 12-well plate with <80% confluent Vero E6 using a syringe and 0.22 µm sterile filter. The CPE was measured on day 6.
