Within-individual associations of declines in global network measures and cognition by baseline disease stage. Effects of network measures on cognitive decline in CN (A), preclinical AD (B), prodromal AD (C) and AD dementia individuals (D) are based on estimated marginal trends as modelled with Bayesian linear mixed models. The error bars represent 95% credible intervals. Effects were considered significant if the 95% credible interval did not cross zero. Group differences were considered significant if the 95% credible interval of the pairwise group comparison did not cross zero and effects for the respective groups were significant. Estimates can additionally be found in Supplementary Table 14. AD, Alzheimer’s disease. Gamma is normalized clustering; lambda is normalized path length.
