The bulk silicate earth (BSE) δ44/40Ca of +1.05 ± 0.04 (defined by Huang et al., 2010) is represented by the vertical grey bar. Literature data are shown as grey symbols; diamonds indicate igneous CAIs whereas squares indicate fine-grained CAIs, and CAIs that have not been identified as fine-grained or igneous are shown as grey squares with white crosses (Huang et al., 2012; Amsellem et al., 2017; Simon et al., 2017; Bermingham et al., 2018). Uncertainties are smaller than the symbols.
