Vero E6 cells were treated with the indicated concentrations of benidipine HCI, amlodipine besylate, clinidipine, nicardipine HCI (a), BAPTA-AM or 2ABP (b) and were infected with SARS-CoV-2 at an MOI of 0.05, and at 24 h p.i., the supernatant was collected and used to measure the viral copy number using quantitative RT-PCR. Cell viability was measured using a CCK-8 assay. The left Y-axis of the graph indicates the mean % inhibition of the virus, while the right Y-axis represents mean % cell viability. The experiments were done in triplicates, and the data shown are means ± SD. The half maximal inhibitory concentrations (IC₅₀) and half cytotoxic concentration (CC₅₀) values were calculated by GraphPad Prism 6.0.
