Figure 9

(a) Structure of [Ru(dppz)2(PIP)]2+ or Ru‐PIP. (b) Cell viability of BRCA wild‐type TNBC MDA‐MB‐231 cells following 24 h treatments with Ru‐PIP alone or in combination with PARP inhibitors (olaparib concentrations of 5 or 10 μM and NU1025 concentrations of 25 or 100 μM were used), as determined by MTT assay. (c) Clonogenic survival of MDA‐MB‐231 cells upon 24 h treatments with a concentration gradient of olaparib with and without Ru‐PIP (25 μM). Single‐agent Ru‐PIP has low impact on clonogenic survival at this concentration (S.F. >95 % at 25 μM), indicating it is sensitising TNBC cells to olaparib.
