Comparison of Local Gyrification Index (LGI) between traumatic brain injury (TBI) and typically developing child (TDC) groups. Warm color highlights regions of significant difference in LGI between groups of adolescents with TBI versus those in the TDC group, where increased LGI is demonstrated in the TBI group. The most significant differences appear in yellow in the bilateral medial and dorsolateral frontal, left parietal, and right temporal areas of the cortical surface, which are among the latest to develop.
