(54)^c. All primers annealed with a maximum of one mismatch to the reference mitochondrial genome for Schistosoma haematobium (GenBank: “NC_008074”). Numbers indicate base pair positions in the S. haematobium reference COI gene. The dark gray area indicates the COI gene. The diagonally marked COI fragment indicates the shortest overlapping 438 base pairs amplified by the different primers to indicate the region used for specimen barcoding.
