Analysis of YL-1 polysaccharide by HPGPC. The homogeneity and weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of YL-1 polysaccharide was determined by high performance gel permeation chromatography (HPGPC) on an Agilent1260 HPLC system. For the experiment, 0.1 M NaNO₃ was used as the mobile phase under and glucan samples were used as calibration standards. The retention time was used to calculate the average molecular weight. Malvern’s OmniSEC software was used for the data acquisition and analysis.
