(A) Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and (B) minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) synergism (syn) effects of silver nitrate (AgNO3) with potassium tellurite (K2TeO3) combination against S. aureus in simulated wound fluid (SWF). Combination of Ag–Te (0.007 mM of Ag + 3 mM of Te) was the lowest fractional inhibitory concentration (FIC < 0.094) and the highest bacteriostatic synergism effect between all metal-based antibiotics combinations.
