Changes in food intake (FI) induced by acute doses of agonists of bitter taste receptors in female rats. Animals (n = 8–10/treatment) were treated one hour before the dark period with an acute dose of epicatechin (234 mg/kg) + epicatechin gallate (14 mg/kg), a whole dose ~0.84 mM (black columns) (a); epicatechin (213 mg/kg) + B2 (62 mg/kg), a whole dose ~0.84 mM (b). White columns indicate the control group treated with tap water as vehicle.
