Table 3.

Twenty seven proteins were identified from wound exudates carrying oxidative modifications on tyrosine (oxidation/+15.99 Da, nitrosylation/+28.99 Da, nitration/+44.99 Da). The total number of proteins found with modification was 80 out of 308 proteins identified. Blood-derived proteins dominate the list. Modifications occur predominantly at the protein surface.
