ADPN decreases the normalized maximum peak size of the specific ICa,p/Cm and the related Gm/Cm for both T and L type Ca2+ current; moreover, it shifts the voltage values that elicits the maximal current in the I-V plots (Vp) and affects the ICa,L and ICa,T kinetics, influencing the Boltzmann parameters of activation (Va and ka) and inactivation (Vh and Kh). The subscript p indicates the peak value, Vthr is voltage threshold, Vrev, is the apparent reversal potential, and tp is peak time at the voltage eliciting the maximal current amplitude. All data are mean values ±SEM ** and *** indicate p < 0.01, and p < 0.001 ADPN vs. CTRL data, respectively (Student’s t-test). Data are from CTRL n = 20 cells, ADPN n = 7 cells, (5 mice).
